Ms. Karla is the Spanish teacher for New Covenant Preschool.  She has 11 years of experience guiding young learners as they discover a new language through songs, books and games.  She loves creating age-appropriate lessons that help children stay engaged and most importantly have fun.  In addition to her work in the mornings, she also works in the afternoons further, strengthening her experience and deepening her knowledge of how best to interact with children outside of circle time. 

Karla graduated from Arizona State University, where she met her husband.  Together, they have three children. Her first personal connection to New Covenant was in 2008 when her youngest attended the school.  It would be a few years before she came back to become a part of this wonderful team.
Beyond the classroom, she enjoys her devotion time, gardening, and watching documentaries.
