Ms. Heather was born in Ontario, Canada, and lived there before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2008. She knew she wanted to be a teacher since she was five years old! Heather completed her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and her Bachelor of Teacher Education from the University of London, Ontario. In total, she has taught students for 15 years.

Heather was raised in a Christian home and received Christ as her Savior at the age of nine. She loves the Lord and has been involved in various ministries during her adult life, including church summer camp ministry, hospitality, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), Awana, Moms in Prayer Ministry, and women’s Bible studies.

Heather has two precious daughters, ages 21 and 19, and a 6-year-old Labradoodle named Gracie. When she is not teaching, Heather is busy with her photography business, planning travel, cooking and baking, crafting, and visiting her Mom in Canada. Heather is the author of a children’s book, “The Good Bye Kiss.”

She feels that being at New Covenant is the BEST, and being a teacher of littles in a Christ-centered environment is such a blessing!
