Originally from Nebraska, Ms. Ashlie spent part of her childhood in Texas before returning to Nebraska to earn her master’s degree in education with an endorsement in special education. After teaching in Texas for 11 years, she moved to Scottsdale, where she is raising her two children, Elise and Marshall.

This is Ashlie’s second year at New Covenant, and she loves the balance it provides—allowing her to do what she loves while sharing the same school community and schedule as her own children.

Three-year-olds have a special place in Ashlie’s heart! She loves their curiosity, imagination, and hilarious conversations, and she enjoys watching each child’s unique personality blossom throughout the year.

In her free time, Ashlie enjoys discovering great food, writing, painting, traveling with her family, and working part-time at a local art studio.
