Dana Engstrom, School Director at New Covenant Lutheran School

Dana Engstrom

School Director

Faith, family, and Christian education have always been at the heart of Ms. Dana’s life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University. For more than 20 years, Dana has been blessed to serve in the private education sector, holding a variety of leadership roles and participating in innovative growth opportunities that have strengthened the schools and communities she has served. Along the way, she has had the privilege of learning from some of the finest leaders in private education — experiences that continue to shape her work today.

New Covenant Lutheran School has held a special place in her family’s story for many years. Her oldest daughter began attending New Covenant in 2008 as a three-year-old preschool student, and all four of her grown children were blessed to begin their educational journeys here. Today, her oldest daughter has come full circle as a classroom teacher, serving their families and children with the same love and dedication she first experienced as a student.

It is truly a blessing to return to New Covenant each year in a role that she cherishes deeply. Dana thanks God daily for the opportunity to partner with the families, support an incredible staff, and help nurture each child’s academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. There is something truly special about New Covenant Lutheran School and Church. Once you step onto this campus and become part of this family, you quickly discover what makes this community such a remarkable place to learn, grow, and share God’s love.
