Ms Tara grew up in the Chicago suburbs and moved to Arizona with her family in 2014 from Charlotte, North Carolina, also living in Raleigh (where she met her husband in college) and briefly in central Virginia (where her family still lives) in between.

This is Tara’s second year at New Covenant, and she is proud to be a part of the warm, nurturing, and kind community that makes this school so special. She loves working with the 3-year-olds and her co-teacher, focusing on creating a supportive environment where students can naturally discover the world around them, build friendships, and learn and grow in confidence every day.

Outside of the classroom, Tara is kept busy by her three kids, Jack, Axel, and Jane. With her oldest now studying at ASU, they are officially a Sun Devil household. Forks up! Tara is eager to dive into the school year and partner with families to make it a fantastic, growth-filled experience for her students.
