Below are various Extra-Curricular Activities offered at Scottsdale’s New Covenant Lutheran Preschool and Kindergarten throughout the year.

 

NCAA Piano for Preschoolers:

Music for Little Mozarts is a fabulous piano class for preschoolers!  Mozart Mouse and
Beethoven Bear learn how to play the piano along with your child.  Weekly classes
include singing, dancing, coloring, and other fun activities!  Students will learn the music
alphabet, music notes and symbols, finger numbers, and much more.

NCAA Mighty Musicians
Students will explore music through song, play, stories, movement, listening, and
coloring.  Musical concepts taught include high and low, introduction to the keyboard and
music staff, solfege, fast and slow, and beat and rhythm

Twinkle Toes
Dance is a great way to involve your children in a fun and fit activity that combines Sport, Music,
Art and Drama. Both boys and girls learn different body movements and dance styles.

JumpBunch

Promotes movement – Improves Fitness – Boosts confidence – Influence Learning. Each week
focuses on a new sport. Basketball, Yoga, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Cricket, Track & Field, Football,
Soccer, Hockey, Tennis, Badminton and many other Sports.

Super Soccer Stars

Youth Soccer Classes 3-5 years old. Positive Reinforcement while building skills, self-confidence, and teamwork.

Social Bugs

Social Bugs – Talk – Play- Learn. Agest 3 & 4 Years old. The program includes fun interactive activities, Role Playing, Making/Keeping Friends, Expressing Feelings, Understanding Social Rules and so much more!

ABC Speech Partners
Early identification and intervention of communication delays can greatly improve a child’s
chance of success in school. It’s never too early to identify delays and begin speech-language
therapy on campus here at New Covenant Lutheran School. Speech screenings are $20. Please
