Welcome to the Owls Kindergarten class. The Owls class has a maximum ratio of 1-10, with two master-level certified teachers to ensure that each child receives the full benefit of this learning experience.
By implementing the Starfall learning program for reading and writing, we utilize creative and engaging activities including academic
centers, journal writing, interactive charts, rhymes, computers, guided reading, and directive drawings to educate our children. Moreover, a hands-on approach is used for Math and Science activities so learning becomes an immersive experience.
The Owls class has a healthy balance of instruction time, and social / play time so our children are able to gain life skills such as working well with others, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Through positive reinforcement, we focus on our classroom guidelines; respecting others, and being responsible for ourselves.
Conferences are offered twice a year, but questions and concerns, and open dialogue are encouraged throughout the year.
